Obituary
David Sorke, aged 49, of Lincoln Park, Michigan, passed away on October 13, 2026. Born on October 19, 1976, in Detroit, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Sorke, and sister, Tammy Sorke. David is lovingly remembered by his son, Anthony (Tarra) Sorke, Jr.; his grandchildren, Kameron, Ryleigh, and one on the way; his mother, Linda Sorke and his siblings, Ken (Vivian) Sorke, Tammy Jo Johnson, and Bobby Sorke; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Family, friends, and all who knew David are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A service honoring his life will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
Following the service, David will be laid to rest at Michigan Memorial Park, accompanied by a customized Harley-Davidson motorcycle hearse—a tribute befitting his unique spirit.
